The Orion Web Console displays dates in American format in some browsers

Dates in the Orion Web Console are shown in mm-dd-yyyy format even though the language and regional settings on the PC & Orion server are set to dd-mm-yyyy.

Overview

When you access the Orion Web Console, dates are shown in MM-DD-YYYY format even though the language and regional settings on your PC and the Orion Server are set to DD-MM-YYYY format.

Cause

The language used in the web browser is set to English US.

Resolution

Depending on the web browser used you may need to review relevant documentation or refer to the public resources. Some examples can be found below:

Brave - go to Settings/Languages change the language used (brave://settings/languages) and re-launch the browser.
Chrome - change the default language setting from English US to English UK and re-launch the browser.
