Overview

The All IP Address resource is not populated for some Palo Alto devices.

This can also affect NTA by causing DEBUG log entries such as:
[Flow Listener on port ####] DEBUG SolarWinds.Netflow.Processing.PacketSourceResolver - Ignoring NetFlow packet from unknown IP Address xx.xx.xx.xx
[35] DEBUG SolarWinds.Netflow.Processing.Events.FlowSourceStatusEventHandler - Raising event Unknown Flow Source for IP Address xx.xx.xx.xx for the #### time.

Cause

The device may not be reporting the missing IP addresses on the expected OID.

Resolution

Orion collects this information using 1.3.6.1.2.1.4.20 (ipAddrTable) and may not be supported by some Palo Alto devices.
You can verify if the information is being returned using using the SNMP Walk tool - SolarWinds SNMP Walk: A new tool for collecting SNMP MIB walks.
If the information is not listed for that OID, you can contact Palo Alto about that behavior.
