How to change the status and response time from Agent to ICMP in Orion

The steps below outlined how to change status and response poller from Agent to ICMP.

Overview

The Orion platform offers two kinds of polling for node status and response time on an agent node, Agent messaging and ICMP(Ping). SolarWinds recommends using ping (if possible) because this has the best consistency and fastest. Resolution

Navigate to Setting > Manage Nodes and identify the node affected.
Check the box next to the node and select List Resources":

Select ICMP (Ping) - Fastest instead of Status & Response Time Agent > click Submit.

Click Poll Now and verify the result of the changes made.
