How to automatically retrieve configuration files for Kiwi Syslog Server NG
The Kiwi Syslog Server NG configuration file is obtained manually from the management screen via "Setup" → "Settings" → "Import, Export and Migration" → "EXPORT".

Overview
Kiwi Syslog Server NG cannot currently run a scheduled configuration export. The export function is available only as a manual operation in the user interface.

What the product supports:
1. Configuration export/import is documented only as a manual task via the web UI:
Settings → Import, Export and Migration → Export, enter a filename and password, then click Export Configuration; this creates a *.kssngbackup file in C:\ProgramData\SolarWinds\KiwiSyslogService\Backup.
2. Schedules in KSS NG apply only to file operations (archive/cleanup) on existing log files, not to configuration export. They move, copy, zip, or delete files in locations such as C:\ProgramData\SolarWinds\KiwiSyslogService\logs based on age or size, at a configured frequency.
There is no documented CLI or API in versions 1.4.x–1.5.x to trigger the “Export configuration” action. There is no supported way to schedule configuration exports directly.
