Overview
As the specific configuration of a given vendor's antivirus solution can vary across each deployment, there may be scenarios where additional antivirus configuration could be required for the normal operation and expected performance of the Orion Platform.

Resolution
- SolarWinds supports the installation of the Orion Platform with the presence of an antivirus product. If an antivirus product detects a false positive in our software, we will work with the vendor to resolve the issue.
- Although not necessary, you can exclude certain files/directories from scanning. Organizations should assess files before excluding them from antivirus scans.
