Overview

For instances in which there is an existing valid license but the Dameware MRC or DRS are showing as expired or still showing the old validity, it needs to be synced to the SolarWinds License Server.
Due to a Security upgrade on our License Server, only Dameware versions 12.2.3 onwards can connect to the SolarWinds License Server.

Another instance is when you activate the license of a Dameware product, it should work for any user.
However, in some cases, the activation is successful, but when you open Dameware, it shows that the license is expired.
If you run it as an admin, Dameware shows that the license is activated.
This is usually due to the machine environment (such as UAC) or user permissions.

Though activated, you'll get the license expired pop-up soon after launching Mini Remote Control. This is due to some background processes that require administrative permissions (such as processes that will only run when launched by the local or domain administrator logged in to the computer).
