Overview
The successful installation and normal operation of the SolarWinds Platform are not typically affected by the presence of antivirus software. The vast majority of SolarWinds Platform installations are hosted on operating systems that also have antivirus solutions installed without any negative impact on the functionality or performance of SolarWinds Platform products.
As the specific configuration of a given vendor's antivirus solution can vary across each deployment, there may be scenarios where additional antivirus configuration could be required for the normal operation and expected performance of the SolarWinds Platform.
