The installation cannot continue because the SolarWinds installer is trying to reach out to falcon-domain-name.fk but, some top-level domains are being blocked by security.

Cause

By design, the SolarWinds installer uses that fake domain. It is a fake domain used internally by the app to host and serve a web UI from an in-process Open Web Interface for .NET server via CefSharp. It avoids touching the network or real domains. It is also not an outside domain.

However, your security team may block some top-level domains including '.fk'.

Resolution

Temporarily unblock the TLD .fk for the installation to proceed. You may then block the TLD '.fk' as part of your security standard after the installation.
