You receive a warning that you do not have local administrator rights when installing products when logged in as an administrator.

Overview

When you are logged in to the Orion server as an administrator and installing or upgrading SolarWinds Orion products, you receive a warning that you are not a local administrator.

If a group policy is applied to your account, you can encounter issues with modifying and writing files during the installation process.

When you log in as a local administrator, all administrative privileges are granted to your account.
