Cause

Allow users to use Web client is disabled in the Serv-U limits and settings

Resolution

  1. Open Serv-U Console.
  2. Go to Limits and Settings.
  3. Select HTTP from the limit type drop-down.
  4. Make sure that Allow users to use Web client is set to "Yes".
  5. If not, create a new limit.
Notes: Limits and settings can be found on different level such as Global, Domain, Group and User. This can be configured depending on what level you want it to have. For example, you set this limits at the Domain level so the Group and User level will inherit this automatically, but you can still overwrite this setting on the Group or User level.
