Windows service monitors error: Quota violation

When attempting to monitor a large amount of Windows Service Monitors with WMI in one template, it returns a Quota Violation Error. Server & Application Monitor SAM

Overview

When attempting to monitor a large amount of Windows services in one Application Monitor, all of the monitors return the following error:

Unexpected error: Quota Violation

Cause

This occurs when SAM Polling bulk polls all of the services in one WMI query. For example, if a template has 50 service monitors then it will utilize one WMI query.

Resolution

Switch the polling method of all Windows Service Monitors to RPC:

Edit the Application Monitor.
Select all the Windows service monitor components.
Click Multi-Edit.
Change Fetching Method to RPC (Remote Procedure Call).
