Windows/Domain Logon prompt pops up when trying to open Kiwi Web Access 9.8.1 / 9.8.2

When attempting to access Kiwi Web Access remotely after upgrading to Kiwi Syslog Server versions 9.8.1 / 9.8.2 the Windows Domain login prompt pops up in the user's browser

Overview

After upgrading to Kiwi Syslog Server 9.8.1, upon opening Kiwi Web Access, a Windows Logon prompt pops up before reaching the Kiwi Web Access login page.

Cause

This is a known issue in Kiwi Syslog Server (KSS) v9.8.1/9.8.2 that will cause this issue to happen despite Anonymous Authentication being enabled in IIS.

Resolution

Workaround:
When the login page pops up, enter the correct domain login credentials for either the Syslog server or local admin account.
