After editing and filtering a widget, the changes are not saved after changing dashboards.

Resolution

Perform the following steps to restore the dashboard to default settings.

Go to Explore > Content.
Click Filter by Type > Dashboards.
Select the affected dashboard and click Restore Defaults.
