When SolarWinds NetFlow Traffic Analyzer receives a data flow from an unmanageable interface, it displays an event in the SolarWinds NTA Events.

NetFlow Receiver Service [servername] is receiving flow data from unmanaged interface '#-318120362' on [nodename] and it does not support SNMP.

Cause

The InputInt and OutputInt fields in a Data FlowSet do not map to the SNMP ifIndex as expected.

Resolution

This is a known bug with CISCO ASA - see Cisco Bug: CSCtb63825 - NetFlow references IDB Interface Value instead of SNMP ifIndex.
