Custom Field <name of custom field> is not accessible by this object.

Cause

The error is caused when the custom field identified in the error message is disabled in the Asset Types section.

Resolution

Go to Setup > Assets.
Select the Asset Type.
Click Custom Fields.
Re-import the assets.
