WHD 12.8.5 Banner "You are currently using version (12.8.5) , a new version (12.8.5) is available."

This article describes a known issue where the Web Help Desk page shows a banner saying there's an updated version even though it is already updated to the last version.

Overview

After upgrading to WHD 12.8.5, admins receive a message indicating that a new version is available, even when they are already using that version.

Cause

This is confirmed as a known issue on the Web Help Desk 12.8.5 version.

Resolution

This issue has been addressed in WHD 12.8.5 HF2 and above. To resolve it, upgrade to a newer version of WHD.
