NCM Vulnerability count by Severity is empty

Overview

When accessing the Modern Dashboard from the Security tab the Vulnerability and Risk Dashboard shows the Vulnerability count by Severity has no data to display

Cause

The matching logic CVE Node Matching Settings is not running.

Resolution

  1. From My Dashboards go to Security Options.
  2. Select the Vulnerability and Risk Dashboard.
  3. Click Settings in the top right corner.
  4. Go to Vulnerabilities then select CVE Node Matching Settings.
  6. Click Run Now and the status should be Completed.
  8. The Vulnerability Count by Severity should show data.
