Resolution

  1. Reassign the nodes to a new polling engine by clicking Change Polling Engine and then selecting a new polling engine.
Note: The following is an example of change of polling method to collect performance information:
Add a specific polling type (for example: SNMP, Agents or WMI node) and change it to another polling type (for example: ICMP). 
  1. After changing the polling engine node, take note of the following:
    • The current number of assigned objects is listed for each available engine. 
    • The number is updated with each automatic polling engine synchronization.
    • Updates to the assigned objects count can only be completed for polling engines that are operationally up.
