VNQM accessing router via CLI (SSH / Telnet)

Overview

Logs on your router may show logins from the IP address of the Orion server and this is related to VNQM data polling.

Resolution

Path operations [ICMP Path Echo Operations or ICMP Path Jitter Operations] require CLI access to poll data and this causes logins to be logged on the router nodes with these operations added. You can check the enabled operations in your environment on the page at Settings > All Settings > VNQM Settings > Edit or delete operations within the Orion Web Console.
