VNQM Error: Operation setup on the node failed. An incorrect value was specified

Overview

When creating an IP SLA operation through VNQM, the following error appears:

Error: Operation setup on the node failed. An incorrect value was specified

Cause

This can occur because the device does not support some of the parameters sent by VNQM.

Resolution

Create the IP SLA operations on the device through the CLI and then add them to VNQM for monitoring.
