Overview
- Network elements are found during a Network Discovery Sweep and do not intend to monitor with SolarWinds.
- Minimize or reduce the SNMP processing load associated with discovering elements
- Retain modifications on what elements to monitor. If a new discovery is completed, import may reset these settings (i.e. CPU/Memory, interfaces, etc) back to default. Ignoring nodes will avoid any changes to the monitored elements set by the administrator.
- Customizing a scheduled network discovery to not include elements (i.e. CPU/Memory, interfaces, etc.)
