Use PuTTY to test the SEM agent connectivity
This article describes steps on how to test the Security Event Manager (formerly Log & Event Manager) agent and manager connection using PuTTY. Contact SolarWinds Support for the standalone PuTTY client installer.

Resolution
- Download and install PuTTY from its website if you don't already have it installed.
- Open a new session to the SEM appliance's IP address or hostname on port 37890, 37891, and then 37892.
