  1. Navigate to the server hosting your SolarWinds Platform product.
  2. From the Windows Start menu, search for Database Manager. Or look under the Start menu folder: SolarWinds Orion.
  3. When the application loads, click Add Orion Server (or Add Default Server on older software versions).
    To connect to a non-default server, click Add Server and enter the data manually.

  4. Expand the database section to view the tables for installed SolarWinds applications. 

You can see a tree of tables on this SQL server.

Further actions

  • To display database details, right-click the database section, and select Server details.
  • To run a query, right-click the database or the table, select New Query, paste a SQL query into the New Query tab, and execute the query.
  • To delete or modify a particular record, right-click the table, execute a query, and click Enable Editing.
