Administration service not installing due to 1603 error

While installing the Administration service the installation fails and does not give any error. Administration service is not found in the control panel.

Administration service not getting installed. Does not give any error while installing.

Cause

The installer file for administration service does not have enough permissions.

Resolution

First, attempt to reboot the SolarWinds server and reinstall the Administration Service. If the issue persists, please follow the steps below:

RDP into the SolarWinds server where the Administration Service are missing.
Open Command Prompt with Administrator privileges.
Navigate to the directory: C:\ProgramData\SolarWinds\Installers.
Install the Administration Service by executing the appropriate .msi file (ensure you copy the full file name).
Verify in the Control Panel if the Administration Services have been successfully installed.
