Update AXL Credentials for Call Managers in VNQM

Overview

The process of updating AXL credentials in VNQM is not identified in the Orion Web Console and instructions are required.

Cause

There is no way to edit AXL credentials and the dropdown list for credentials doesn't provide an option for adding a new credential.

Resolution

  • When editing a call manager in the Orion Web Console, scroll down to the Call Manager CDR/CMR Polling section
  • Click in the dropdown named 'Select AXL Credentials' and start typing a new credential name:

  • When you type in a new credential name, the AXL Username field will become available. Add a username and password then click test.
