Unable to open UDP/TCP socket on port <number>

Resolution
- Go to Start > Run and enter
cmd
- Enter
netstat -aon
- Check for any process identifier numbers (PID) bound to port 514.
- In your Task Manager, identify the process that corresponds to the PID.
Note: Verify that you have set your Task Manager to include the PID. Refer to Include the Process ID Column on the Task Manager's Processes Tab. (© 2019 Microsoft , available at https://technet.microsoft.com, obtained on January 17, 2019). - End the process that is bound to port 514.
- Restart the Kiwi Syslog daemon.
