Unable to open node summary page with error: "Ooops You cannot use this feature, as your current license does not include access to it."

Overview

After the upgrade to newer versions or sometimes when onboarding the new devices, and in certain situations, users may be unable to open the node summary page and see the following error: 

"403 - Forbidden, Ooops... You cannot use this feature, as your current license does not include access to it"

Cause

The issue might have occurred due to the device type being misconfigured while adding the node.

Resolution

Therefore, to resolve this issue, change the Web view to Node Summary for the affected devices.

Follow the steps below:

  • Navigate to Settings > All Settings> Views by Device Type
  • Change the View By Device Type to "Node Details - Summary" and Save the change.
