Overview

When attempting to install Kiwi CatTools, the install will unpack, but nothing will happen. Upon checking the License Manager, there are no SolarWinds products detected.

Cause

The License store for Kiwi CatTools is corrupted, preventing it from being installed.

Resolution

If the customer has other SolarWinds Applications running on the actual machine such as Orion-based applications that utilize the Web License Manager, please ask the customer to deactivate all these first before running the tool below.

Run the License Reset Tool as admin on the machine where Kiwi CatTools is to be installed on.

Password is burn/purify, hit Reset. Then launch License Manager again. You should now be able to see the complete list of applications, and then be able to install Kiwi CatTools normally.

You may then reactivate all the Orion based licenses using the Web Based License Manager. From Orion Website > Settings > All Settings > License Manager.
