Unable to export Patch Manager data to a Microsoft Access database
This article addresses an error that displays when you export Patch Manager data to a Microsoft Access database.

Overview
If you select the Export to Microsoft® Access Database (*.mdb) option when exporting data from the Patch Manager console, the export fails and the console returns the following error message.
Error Message:
Failed to export. Error Code: 1 Message: Incorrect function

Resolution
Perform one of the following procedures:
- Select an alternative export file type.
- Install the 2007 Office System Driver: Data Connectivity Components on all Patch Manager systems that generate Access exports (© 2018 Microsoft Corporation, available at http://www.microsoft.com, obtained on January 11, 2018).
- Install Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 Reditributable pack on all Patch Manager systems that generate Access exports (© 2018 Microsoft Corporation, available at http://www.microsoft.com, obtained on January 11, 2018).
For example, if Patch Manager is exporting the data from scheduled reports, install the Redistributable pack on the Patch Manager server running the reports.
If you are exporting the data from a Patch Manager console, install the Redistributable pack on the server running the console.
