Unable to edit legacy reports in the Orion Web Console

This article describes an issue that prevents you from editing, copying, or deleting legacy reports in the Orion Web Console.

Overview

After you log in to the Orion Web Console, you cannot edit, copy, or delete legacy reports in the console.

Legacy reports are pre-existing reports that do not use the new, web-based reporting framework introduced with SolarWinds NPM version 10.6. These legacy reports must be edited using Report Writer, in the same way that reports in previous versions of NPM were edited.

In Orion Platform 2020.2.6, the Report Writer tool is removed from the Orion Platform. Migrate the reports to the web and use web-based reports.
