VoIP & Network Quality Manager

Cause

  • FTP data compression is not successfully decompressed by VNQM.
  • There is a known issue between WeOnlyDo, the software we use for FTP, and Titan FTP Server.

Resolution

  • In the Orion Web Console, please navigate to: Settings > All Settings > VoIP & Network Quality (VNQM) Settings > Under Details > Edit VoIP & Network Quality Manager settings
  • Once on the "VoIP and Network Quality Manager Settings" page, enable the "Disable FTP Compression" under the Call Manager section then click "Save" to submit changes.
  • VNQM should be able to successfully download the CDR files during the next polling job.
Monitor the IpSlaM.Fft.Jobs log file to confirm that files are being downloaded and deleted from the FTP server. Note that deletions will only happen after files are downloaded, which can take some time.
