Cause

This error occurs when SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM) is unable to perform a transform of the results of an assigned Universal Device Poller on a selected network object. More specifically, this error may occur for any of the following reasons:

  • The selected node or the parent node of the selected object may be down.
  • The performance interval of the relevant Universal Device Poller transform does not match the polling interval of the selected object.
  • The transformed Universal Device Poller is not assigned to the selected object.
  • One or more of the pollers within the transform is not enabled.
  • Numbers exist in the poller name.

Resolution

  • Node down - Confirm that the selected node or the parent node of the selected object is operationally up.
  • Mismatched interval - Confirm that the transform interval of the assigned Universal Device Poller matches the polling interval of the selected object.

  • Unassigned UnDP - Assign the transformed Universal Device Poller to the selected object.
  • Disabled UnDP Poller - Right-click on the poller itself and click on Enable.
  • Remove the numbers from the poller name and the transform poller.
