Unable to backup Checkpoint device in NCM

This article is created to address the issue of NCM not able to backup the Checkpoint firewall due to CLI concerns

Overview

Upon taking a backup of the Checkpoint firewall, it is showing successful but the backup file only shows "-bash: Show: command not found"

Cause

The account used to backup the checkpoint is set to use bash prompt in CLI

Resolution

-Check the account defined in the connection profile
-Have the account validated in the Checkpoint firewall
-The account must be set to use CLI SSH prompt for CLI

Note: Changes must be done by the Checkpoint Firewall administrator
