Unable to Switch Monitors After Upgrading to DMRC version 12.3.0.12 During DMRC Remote Session

There is a known issue in Dameware Mini Remote Control 12.3.0.12 when switching monitors during a remote session.
This issue has been addressed in the HotFix for 12.3.0.12

Once a HotFix has been applied, the version will change from 12.3.0.12 to 12.3.0.42.

***This bug is resolved in version 12.3.1 and up. Please upgrade to the latest version instead of the Hotfix of 12.3.0***

***Please ensure the application is already in 12.3.0.12 before applying the HotFix***

1. Download the Dameware 12.3.0.12 HotFix1 one from your SolarWinds Customer Portal: https://customerportal.solarwinds.com/HotFixes
2. Please make sure to read the readme notes inside the application or from this article: Dameware 12.3.0 Hotfix 1 Release Notes

Notes:

• Make sure to apply the correct version of DWRCC.exe
• For the MRC that comes with the DRS, the customer should apply the 32bit
• If Dameware Installation Path is C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Dameware Remote Support
  • Files from the Buddy Drop to apply: 
    • <Download Path>\DameWare-v12.3.0-HF1\Dameware Mini Remote Control\x86
    • <Download Path>\DameWare-v12.3.0-HF1\Dameware Remote Support\x86
• If Dameware Installation Path is C:\Program Files\SolarWinds\Dameware Mini Remote Control x64
  • Files from the Buddy Drop to apply:
    • <Download Path>\DameWare-v12.3.0-HF1\Dameware Mini Remote Control\x64
• The HotFix application is successful when the version changes from 12.3.0.12 to 12.3.0.42. Otherwise, retry the whole process.
