Resolution

To turn off these warning emails, a configuration switch needs to be added to the pnServer.config.xml.

To achieve this goal, please follow the steps below:
  • Open C:\ProgramData\protected-networks.com\8MAN\cfg\pnServer.config.xml in text editor
    • Before </config> add the following:
      <dataowner>
      	<mail>
      		<sendMailForEmptyOrganizationCategories type="System.Boolean">false</sendMailForEmptyOrganizationCategories>
              <sendMailForDataOwnerChanges type="System.Boolean">false</sendMailForDataOwnerChanges>
      	</mail>
      </dataowner>

  • Save the file
  • Restart ARM service
Emails regarding the Data Owner configuration should not be sent anymore.
To test this start database maintenance manually or wait until the next one is done, by default that is at 5 am every day.
