How to turn off or disable IP Address Scanning for IPAM.

This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to turn off or disable scanning per IP address on IPAM especially if it's External IP's without affecting other IP's on that subnet.

This steps will help you Manage IP's that's not reachable via ping and set the status without affecting the whole subnet.

Resolution

  1. Click My Dashboard > IP Address Manager > Manage Subnets & IP Addresses.
  2. Select the subnet you want to edit.
  3. Click Select IP,
  4. Click Edit.
       4.1. You can also do it on multiple IP addresses, you just need to check the checkbox on IP's and follow the below steps.
  1. On Scanning, Click the drop down and choose "OFF".
  2. Click Save
