Overview

When opening the Orion Web Console via IP address/hostname, the following error message appears:

In Chrome: This webpage has a redirect loop ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

In Internet Explorer: This page can't be displayed

You may also see this error during Solarwinds Configuration Wizard on primary main poller(s) or Additional webserver resulting in website configuration part failing.

Website Configuration failed
Web Request for /Orion/Login.aspx failed Too many automatic redirections were attempted

Cause

Inconsistent redirect rules configured in IIS or DNS mismatches

Resolution

Make sure the Websites table is updated correctly and the entries match the IIS binding for "Solarwinds NetPerfMon"

Disable any redirection rules enabled in IIS manager > HTTP Redirect > Test it out again.

If the problem still persists, consider Rebuild the Orion Website .
