Overview

In the Azure dashboard, the Disk Read/Write metrics are presented using Bytes/Sec.

During higher traffic, it spikes to MB/Sec.

However, in the same chart in Perfstack, the monitored Disk Read / Write is shown in Bytes (Billion of bytes).

This threshold could be edited, but it has a limit of 1.000.000 Bytes

Cause

This behavior indicates a potential defect in the product. The expected conversion of 48.4 MiB/s is 50,751,078.4 B/s; however, the chart incorrectly displays 3,100,000.0 B/s.

Resolution

This issue is addressed in SolarWinds Platform 2026.1. Consider upgrading your environment. If you cannot upgrade, you can use the legacy UI chart as a workaround in Cloud Summary page.
