Test UDP ports

This article will go over how to troubleshoot UDP ports used in SNMP.

Overview

Powershell, PUTTY, and Telnet can only test TCP ports.
To get around this, we will use the Microsoft application PortQry for this.

Using the link below, download the PortQry application. It must be unzipped properly for it to work.

Once the contents have been extracted, no installation is necessary. Run the portqueryui.exe from the Orion server.

Input the IP, Port number and protocol to test if the port is listening.
