Test Failed on credentials when adding DHCP server in IPAM

This article will explain what to do when the test failed on the credentials when adding DHCP, receiving the below error: Test Failed - Exception impersonating user, error code: 183

Cause

The service account cannot login into IPAM.

Resolution

-Ensure that the user has the following permission:

DHCP Users
DHCP Administrators
Local Administrators

-Make sure the DHCP and IPAM server are on the same location/Domain
-If the DHCP server and IPAM application are located on a different domains, need to create local user account (user access only) on DHCP and SolarWinds server.
-Use ./user upon testing the DHCP user credential.

Alternatively:
Allow the "Log on Locally" for the user
