Template Assignment Does Not Display Nodes/Groups

This articles explains an issue where the Web Console returns 'No data to display' when viewing the details of the nodes and\or groups assigned to an application monitor template under SAM Settings. Upgraded to SAM 2020.2.6

Overview

• The Web Console returns 'no data to display' when viewing the assignment of objects (nodes/groups) with an application monitor template (All Settings > SAM Settings > Manage Templates)

• Application monitor polling is available and new assignments take place

Fixed in SAM 2020.2.6 HF2 or later.

Workaround available:
· Go to the Assigned Application Monitors tab
· Select Group By: Application Monitor Template
· You may click each template by name in the left pane and in the right pane, it displays the assigned nodes
