Task Factory – SFTP Task No Error

If your having an issue with SFTP Task but not receiving an error message

Overview

Client experiences issue in which the TF SFTP Task is not performing its designated function (i.e. Download File from Server, Upload File to server etc..) but it’s showing as a success despite there being no sign the task actually performed the function requested.

Resolution

There is a check box within SFTP Task entitled, “Stop Package on Failure”. This box must be checked for an error message to occur.

If the Task encounters an error, and this box is not checked, it will show a success every time despite there actually being an error.
