Stackable Poller licenses get unassigned after performing an HA failover

Stackable Polling Engine licenses are unassigned when manual failovers are performed.

Overview

Each time a manual failover is performed on an Additional Polling Engine (APE), the licenses become unassigned and must be manually reassigned.

Cause

This has been identified as a known issue in the SolarWinds Platform.

Resolution

This issue is addressed in SolarWinds Platform 2025.2.1. Consider upgrading your environment.
