Product section

Netflow Traffic Analyzer

Cause

The error is caused when the amount of data loading in the charts is too much for the Information service. Refer to information service and IIS troubleshooting steps.

Resolution

  1. Log in to the Orion Web Console using an account with administrator privileges.
  2. Click Settings (Top Menu bar in Newer versions)  > All Settings, and then click 'NTA Settings' in the Product specific settings section.
  3. Scroll down to Charting and Graphing Settings.
  4. Change the Default time period settings for resources on detail views, summary views, and for search to a few minutes or to 15 minutes. See Configuring default time periods for resources.

By changing this feature, you may be able to stop pages loading so much data.

Data being loaded into charts could be refreshed several times. Check to see if anyone in the organization is loading the same page with a obscure refresh rate.
