Overview
By default, DPA ships with and uses a version of OpenJDK. However, you can choose to use a different supported Java installation. (See the system requirements for your DPA version for the currently supported Java version.)
This article provides instructions for using a different Java installation when DPA is installed on a Linux server. If DPA is installed on a Windows server, see Specify the Java installation that DPA uses (Windows).

Resolution
-
Determine the location of the Java file that you want DPA to use.
-
Open the following file or, if the file does not exist, create it:
/iwc/tomcat/ignite_config/java_loc.txt
-
The file should contain one line with the full path and file name of the Java file. Add this line or update the existing line. For example:
/home/java/jdk160_03/bin/java
-
Save the file.
-
Restart DPA by running these commands:
\shutdown.sh
\startup.sh
