Component monitor scripts in the AIX template do not execute if "Inherit credentials from node" is selected and polling occurs via the SolarWinds agent for AIX.
If you assign the AIX template to a node in SAM, select the "Inherit credentials from node" option for component monitors, and use the SolarWinds agent for AIX to monitor the node, scripts will not execute and you will receive the following error: Linux script execution error. Scripting Error. Script does not contain the expected parameters.

Resolution
- Navigate to the Assigned Application Monitors tab of the Manage Application Monitor Templates page and edit scripts for failed component monitors to assign credentials. Click Get Script Output to test the script. After polling occurs, the component monitor should report the correct value.
- When assigning the AIX template to a node, provide credentials instead of selecting "Inherit credentials from node."
