Overview

When you launch OrionPermissionChecker from the path and then click CHECK NOW, it fails with an error:

SolarWinds.PermissionChecker.GUI has stopped working

If you click View problem details, it shows Problem Signature CLR20r3, with signature02 2015.1.35100.9209.

Resolution

Copy the path C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion and open CMD as an administrator.
Do cd .. until you are at root C:\.
Copy C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion into copy buffer and then right click on the blue line for CMD line and paste the path.
CMD line should now read C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion> OrionPermissionChecker.exe (as Administrator Command Prompt).
When OrionPermissionChecker runs, then click CHECK and now it should pass
