Site-to-Site VPN tunnels with dynamic peer IPs are missing in the Orion Web Console

When you monitor site-to-site VPN tunnels on a Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA), the tunnels with static peer IPs display but tunnels with dynamic peer IPs are missing.

Cause

The missing site-to-site VPN tunnel in the Orion Web Console is also missing in the device CLI and SNMPwalk (SolarWinds SNMP Walk tool) under 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.392.

Resolution

Network Performance Monitor (NPM) collects site-to-site VPN tunnel information using CISCO-REMOTE-ACCESS-MONITOR-MIB (1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.392) and the following CLI commands: (© 2018 ByteSphere, available at http://www.oidview.com, obtained on December 14, 2018)
