Overview

In events that maintenance is being made to the SolarWinds Server (Server Patches, Security Updates, Troubleshooting), this article describes how to maintain all the SolarWinds services using the SolarWinds Platform Service Manager. It is an essential tool for efficiently bringing services down for maintenance or stopping everything at once and simultaneously bringing it all online. It also includes bringing up and down the SolarWinds website. You can access the SolarWinds Platform Service Manager from the SolarWinds Platform Web Console or a stand-alone tool, available in the Windows Start menu inside your SolarWinds Server.
