Overview

This explains how to show traffic for a specific subnet going out to the Internet in NTA using IP Address Groups and IP Address Group Conversations in the Flow Navigator.

Resolution

  1. Create an IP address group  for the specific subnet.
  2. Open Flow Navigator:
  3. Select IP Address Groups Summary view and select the IP address group you want to see specific traffic for going to the Internet.

 

Note: It is important to set IP Groups Conversation to Exclude if you need to filter out public IPs that are internal if you are only trying to see traffic talking to the Internet.
